About Artissima XYZ

Welcome on Artissima XYZ!

Artissima XYZ is an original cross-media platform that transforms the three curated sections of the fair into a digital experience: Present Future (curated by Ilaria Gianni and Fernanda Brenner), Back to the Future (curated by Lorenzo Giusti and Mouna Mekouar), and Disegni (curated by Bettina Steinbrügge and Lilou Vidal).

Suggesting the axes of the Cartesian system, the name XYZ reflects the polydimensional and multimedia approach of the portal: a 360-degree journey to discover the works of 30 artists (10 for each section).

Sections and projects

From the homepage or the menu, by clicking on the name of each section you can see all the projects by the artists taking part in that area. By clicking on a single project you can reach the page of in-depth coverage of the project and the artist: you will find images of works with captions and prices, and you can contact the gallery for more information. You can also learn more about the artist’s poetics through critical writings, videos, podcasts and other materials.

Galleries

From the homepage or the menu, by clicking on galleries you can directly access the list of participating galleries.

Videos

From the menu, you can directly access the playlists of multi-media video contents, subdivided by section, for an immersive visit in the company of artists, gallerists and curators.

From the homepage or the menu, it is also possible to navigate in XYZ along tours recommended by our testimonials.

Search

On every page of the site, by clicking on the magnifying glass next to the menu you can reach the search page. Here you can freely search for all contents (box above) or in the galleries and artists categories, filtering the works by section, year, medium and price.
